Ice Mobility held its first Annual Golf Outing on October 4th to raise both funds and awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Ice Mobility's partners and employees generously donated over $22,000 to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Chicago Chapter.
"What an amazing surprise when we received the Ice gift in excess of $22,000," said Pam Swenk, Executive Director of the Illinois Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. "We just can't thank Ice enough for this spectacular gift and all the effort behind it. We are both appreciative and humbled by their hard work and dedication that will benefit people with blood cancer."
"This effort captures the true spirit and dedication of our team, as it was their idea to support one of our own who has been diagnosed," said John Mitchell, President of Ice Mobility. "We could not have accomplished this without the generous support of our partners and we are honored to support this incredibly important cause."
Ice is committed to giving back to the community. Ice expanded social responsibility efforts in 2016 through providing aid to more local organizations, expanding environmental sustainability programs and expanding employee involvement. Over the past year, Ice Mobility has participated in a variety of activities in support of local charities including: The Northern Illinois Foodbank, Catholic Charities holiday family adoption program, Veterans Health Administration, Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and Feed My Starving Children. In addition, Ice enhanced ongoing commitments to the responsible recycling of materials used in their operations as well as the responsible recycling of used wireless devices.
